NCC Men’s Mentoring Workshop

MEN! We have a role in the lives of the young men in our churches.

It is a role that men by and large have failed at for decades. Few of us have had older men who came alongside us and demonstrated – one on one – what it is “…to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned…” (Titus 2, ESV)

With so few men modeling the practice, even fewer pursue it now that we are the “older men.” Even if we feel the call to take up the mantle of discipleship and mentoring, most of us are held back: “Where do I begin?” or “Who am I to be a mentor?” and similar questions block us from moving forward.
